ODEDA LG : HON ADEYEMO PUTS SMILE ON THE FACES OF THE COUNCIL PEOPLE

......Distributes food Items and cash to both Muslim and Christian faithful at Ramadan/Lenten period 

The Odeda Local Government Chairman, Hon (Dr). Waliat Folasade Adeyemo (PhD) has distributed cash/food support to Muslim/Christian faithfuls across the 10 wards of the local government.

In her welcome address, the LG Boss, Hon. Adeyemo welcomed everybody to the program.

She explained that the essence of the program was to give back to the people the dividend of democracy.

Hon Adeyemo, however, explained that this would make it the third (3rd) time such program will be organized for the people.

" When we talk of democracy, it is not only when we build houses and other things, but when we give back to the people frequently through such programs."

In his goodwill message, Leader of the House of Legislative, Odeda Local Government, Hon. Adeyemi Rotimi appreciated the Chairman for her commitment to the people of the Local Government.

The Chief Scribe of the Council,however urged, everybody to pray for the Chairman and her cabinet members to be able to continue delivering the dividend of  democracy to the people of the council.

In the same vein, the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr. Ayodeji Micheal also appreciated the Chairman for her dedication and commitment towards the welfare of the people in the Local Government.

The Vice-Chairman of Odeda Local Government, Hon. Adigun Yaya Nasiru, in his vote of thanks, appreciated everybody for their presence and success of the program.

Present at the program were, Hon. (Dr) Waliat Folasade Adeyemo, Executive Chairman Odeda Local Government, Hon. Adigun Yaya Nasiru, Vice-Chairman, Odeda Local Government, Mr. Oyekunle Adebayo, Secretary to the Local Government, Odeda Local Government,  Hon. Adeyemi Rotimi, Leader of the House, and other members of the Legislative Council, Supervisors and Special Advisers.

Others include the Head of Local Government Administration, Mr Ayodeji Micheal, Directors, Heads of Departments, Staff,  beneficiaries, and well wishers.
